He is survived by three brothers; nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jessie Mellott Keefer; wife, Mary L. Keefer, who died Feb. 4, 2000; three sisters, Alice Carbaugh, Ruth Rhodes and Lillian M. Carbaugh; and one brother, Lee Keefer.
