Mary Alice Bodily answers death's call. Little Mary Alice Bodily, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Bodily answered the call of death Monday morning after a serious illness. Alice was ten years old in December.

She was taken ill with whooping cough five weeks ago. Her tonsils became badly infected and later she broke out with the measles.

In spite of all that loving hands could do other complications set in and the little sufferer grew worse until the end came four o'clock Monday morning.

The funeral services were held at the home Tuesday at one o'clock because several members of the family weren't completely recovered from whooping cough. Seymour B. Snow offered the opening prayer. Leslie Thacker, Beatrice Stringham, Thomas Bingham and Rosland Jones, sang "Some Time We'll Understand," and I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go." Leslie Thacker sang "Your Sweet Little Rosebud," the other members of the quartet joining in the chorus.

Ellis Sterling Colton, John L. McConkie and Beatrice Stringham were the speakers. Miss Stringham was little Alice's teacher. All spoke very consolingly to the heartbroken father, mother, brothers and sister. Lester Bingham dismissed the services.

The floral offerings were beautiful. Interment took place in the Maeser Cemetery. Nathan Hardy dedicated the grave. The entire community extend their sympathy to the family in their hour of trial and bereavement.
