BANKS, Dave, wife, son and daughter - Uncle Jabe Banks received a telegram Wednesday from Norman, Oklahoma announcing that his son, Dave Banks and wife, son and daughter had been killed that night before in a cyclone. Mr. Banks left on the afternoon train for Norman. We extend sympathy to the afflicted family.

Tuesday evening three terrible cyclones swept along in a north-eastern direction, one upon the south and the other upon the north side of the city of Norman causing great loss of life and property. The damage done by the one on the south was mostly to buildings and stock, while that upon the north was productive of great fatality.
At D. F. Banks' fine farm nothing remains. Mr. Banks and his wife were driven in opposite directions and pounded to death with timbers. The children are all dead including Mrs. Laura Hess a daughter.
Albert Gilmore and his wife were at Mr. Bank's house when the storm struck the house. They were severely injured but are recovering at this writing.
Twenty two people were killed and 50-75 injured. List of persons killed:

DIED OF HER INJURIES
Ethel Banks, who had been in kind and loving hands at Mr. Hunt's place died last evening about 5 o'clock P. M. The remains were interred in the Warren Cemetery this afternoon at 1 o'clock.
