Colleen Selsor, 78, of Joplin, Mo. passed away Saturday May 31, 2008 at St. John's Regional Medical Center.

Colleen was born August 18, 1929 in Webb City, Mo. to Otis and Beulah Conner. She was a long time member of the Frisco Church in Webb City and was a devout Christian. She loved to travel and had traveled to Europe twice and also to Japan. At one time the family lived in Laguna Beach, Ca. which she loved and the family would return there for many summer vacations. They also lived in Idaho Falls, Id. but later returned to the Joplin area.

She married Charles Selsor on October 3, 1945 in Columbus, Ks., he survives. Additional survivors include two daughters, Cayla Robinson of Joplin and Marcy Hays of Webb City, one son, Cary Selsor of Webb City. She is also survived by a sister, Fern Bair of Joplin, three brothers, Jerry and Cecil Conner of Webb City and Don Conner of Joplin, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many extended family members. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Rosemary Pendleton and two grandchildren, Billy and Matthew Fisher.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Mason-Woodard Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Bill Hobson officiating. Jerry Shipman, Rodney Bradfield, Charles Laramore, David Shultz, Nick Hays and Gabe Hays will serve as Pallbearers. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park; the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday evening.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Chapel.
