Jeanette Elizabeth Costello, 90, of Vero Beach, FL, died Aug. 11, 1997 at the Florida Baptist Retirement Center where she resided for the past 10 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Vero Beach.

She was born Sept. 29, 1906 in Kankakee, the daughter of Cassius and Frances Tait. She married Clyde Costello in 1935.

Mrs. Costello was a kindergarten school teacher and a member of the First Baptist Church of Kankakee.

Survivors include one son, Thomas C. Costello of Lawrence, KS; two daughters, Sandra Davis of Williamsburg, VA; Linda Durfee of Vernon, CT; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Cox-Gifford Funeral Home in Vero Beach, where services will follow at 2 p.m. The Rev. Priester will officiate.

Burial will be in Crestlawn Cemetery.
