Phyllis Eileen Janke Cinotti

CINOTTI Phyllis, 74, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008 after months of illnesses. Mrs. Cinotti was a long-time resident of the Beaches and a parishioner of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was born Phyllis Eileen Janke in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Notre Dame Academy. In 1956 she moved to Jacksonville after marrying Joseph Cinotti. Together they opened Cinotti's Bakery, where Phyllis was known for her beautifully decorated cakes. After selling the bakery in 1985, Phyllis and Joe enjoyed their retirement years, travelling in the US and abroad with family and friends and spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Joe; brother William Janke of Cleveland, Ohio; sons Michael Cinotti (Doodle) and Anthony Cinotti (Charlene); daughter Jacquelyn Cinotti-Dirmann (Terry); grandchildren Michelle Vining, Melissa Folette, Joey Cinotti, Julian Cinotti, Joseph Dirmann and Isabella Cinotti; 6 great-grandchildren and many wonderful friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 4th from 5:00-7:00pm followed by a rosary at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 (904-249-2374). A memorial mass will be celebrated by Fr. William Kelly on Thursday, June 5th at 10am at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice.
