Audie "Hoss" Hager, 44, of 1338 S. Main St., Nicholasville, husband of Lucretia Scroggins "Cricket" Hager, died at his home December 26, 2003 after a short illness. He was a retired professional wrestler, wrestling under the name of Fabulous Danny Fargo. As a wrestler he traveled all over the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Canada, raising money for numerous charities including youth football, DARE programs, Buckhorn Children's Home, Shriners and others. He was a member of the Die Hard Softball Team and was a retired Alcohol Beverage Control Officer.

He was the son of Louis Hager and the late Linda B. Stinnett Hager Bates.

Survivors include a daughter, Leondra Jane (Donnie), Hager-Lex., two sons, James Louis Hager and William Marx Hager both of Nich., five grandchildren, two sisters, Amanda (William) Curtsinger-Nich. and Brenda "Pearl" (Mark) Dickison-Nich., two brothers, Louis (Patricia) Hager and James Roy Hager of Jessamine Co., a special aunt and uncle, Mary and Hoover Peel of Nich. and many other family and friends.
