MARTHA KELLENBURGER RITES SET AT MONON

MONON--Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Kellenburger, 88, a lifetime resident of the Monon area, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Stewart Funeral Home in Monon. Burial will be in Monon Cemetery.

Mrs. Kellenburger died at 11 p.m. Tuesday in the Monticello Nursing Home, following an illness of four years.

Born in Jasper county, her first marriage was to Frank Archer, who died in 1931. She later was married to Albert Kellenburger, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Monon Baptist Church and the Monon Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Owen F. Archer of Mississippi; five daugthers, Mrs. Alta Mae May of Lafayette, Mrs. Margaret Knight of Rochester, Mich., Mrs. Evelyn Jacoby of Monon, Mrs. Maxine Bessler of Wanatah and Mrs. Betty Nelson of Francesville; one sister, Mrs. Charles Page of Francesville; 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

One son, a daughter, four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Thursday.
