BRANDON - Jessie "Violet" Scallorn, 63, a retired assembly worker for Presto Manufacturing Co., died of cancer Saturday at her home.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl with burial in Lakewood South Cemetery in Jackson. Visitation is 3:30-9 p.m. today.
Mrs. Scallorn was a Hazlehurst native. She had been a resident of Brandon 11 years.
Survivors include: husband, Charles; sons, Scott Roberts of Pearl, Homer Roberts of Braxton, and Paul Roberts and Kenny Roberts, both of Vicksburg; daughters, Elsie Wall of Florence and Deborah Strong of Raymond; brothers, Joe Boutwell, Elliott Boutwell, Jimmy Boutwell and Wayne Boutwell, all of Baton Rouge; sister, Ann Lloyd of Baton Rouge; and 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
