Agnes Baker Gregerson, of Aiken, SC, and formerly of Harleyville, SC, entered into eternal rest on September 14, 2010, in Aiken, SC.

Agnes was born on October 28, 1917, in Bonneau, SC, a daughter of the late Eva Viola Hughes and Joel Theodore Raybourne. Mrs. Gregerson was a graduate of Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College) in Wilson, NC and did graduate work at East Carolina University, Greenville, NC and the University of South Carolina. She taught school in Macedonia, St. Stephen, Harleyville, Holly Hill and Mims Academy. Mrs. Gregerson was a member of the Harleyville Christian Church for over 50 years and their pianist for 21 years. She was also a member of the Red Hat Club, Harleyville Book Club and Senior Citizens. She was first married to Dan White Baker and was later married to George H. Gregerson. She has lived in Aiken for the last four years.

Surviving is her daughter, Virginia Johnson of Aiken, SC; two grandchildren, Desiree Lawless of Spartanburg, SC, and William Lawless of Atlanta, GA; two step-daughters, Penny Bazzle of St. George, SC, and Bonnie Knight of Harleyville, SC; step-son, Henry Gregerson of Monmouth Beach, NJ; and nine step-grandchildren.
