Mrs. Elizabeth Hoffner
Mrs. Bertha Davies of 215 Harvard ave NE has received news of the death of her sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Skillcorn Hoffner, former Massillon resident, which occurred Sunday in the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Jerome Hohl of Wichita, Kan., with whom she lived.
Mrs. Hoffner was a native of England and came to the United States with her parents as a small child. The family settled in the vicinity of Massillon. She was the widow of the late Joseph Hoffner, formerly of Massillon.
In addition to Mrs. Davies and Mrs. Mrs. Holh. Mrs. Hoffner is survived by three other sisters, Mrs. George Rohr and Mrs. Harriet GENET of Massillon and Mrs. Ralph Bahney of Ontario, Cal.; two brothers, Joshua and John Skillcorn of Saginaw, Mich., two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed. It is expected the funeral service will be held in Kansas and interment made there.
