“Gladys Fern (Wilson) Barron, 99, died at 2 p.m. Friday, July 2, 1999, at Country Care Nursing Center, Williamsport. She had been in failing health the past year. Born November 23, 1899 near Williamsport in Warren County, she was the daughter of Lawrence L. and Olia Atha Booth Wilson. She married Henry V. Barron January 1, 1921 in Attica. He was the farmer who preceded in death January 24, 1988.

She resided in Warren County all her life. She was a homemaker. She attended Williams Chapel near Johnsonville. She was active with Warren County 4-H.

Survivors include: a granddaughter, Terri L. Wargo, rural Williamsport; and a great-grandon, Michael L. Wargo, rural Williamsport. She was preceded in death by son, Henry Lee Baron; a sister; and two brothers.

Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home, West Lebanon, with Rev. John Buckley officiating. Burial was in West Lebanon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Warren County 4-H Fair Found building.” – Fountain County Neighbor, Attica, Indiana, July 7, 1999
