Charles V. Finney, 39, a well known potter, died at 9:45 Saturday (March 11, 1911) at his home on Wedgewood street, East End, after a week's illness of pneumonia.

The deceased was employed as a jiggerman at the Laughlin plant. He was highly popular, not only in pottery circles, but throughout the city. He was a member of the Independent Order of Americans and Class 13 of the M. E. church, also being a member of Erie street M. E. church for 20 years.

Mr. Finney was born January 13 or 15, 1872, at Clarkson, O., at the age of ?0 he removed to this city. On December 12, 1894, he married Miss Alice Martin in this city. To that union two children were born, William, aged 15 and Olive, aged 13, who with the mother survive. The father and mother of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Finney and one brother, Frank, survive.

The funeral will be from the home at 2 o'clock this afternoon and interment will be made in Riverview cemetery.
