Funeral services for Mrs. Guy (Julia) Cornelison, 79, were held July 16 at the First Christian Church in Maryville with Rev. Thomas B. Peake officiating. Mrs. Cornelison died July 13 at St. Francis Hospital, Maryville. Interment was at Miriam Cemetery, Maryville.
She was born April 12, 1886, at Diagonal, Ia., the daughter of Casper and Rachel Miller Denhart.
She married Guy W. Cornelison, Dec. 28, 1910 at Diagonal; they were residents of Ringgold County for a number of years. The Cornelisons moved to Maryville March 1, 1933, where she was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Guy; one son, Dan Cornelison, Maryville; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford Taylor, Diagonal, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Cornelison and Mrs. Lora Buck, both of Des Moines, Ia.; one brother, John F. Denhart, Mt. Ayr, Ia.; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
