Leonard R. Anderson, retired potter, died Tuesday at 3:35 p.m. at his home at 164 Center Street, following a long illness.

He was employed last at the Homer Laughlin China Company, and was a member of the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters. He was affliated with the First Free Methodust church.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Mary Frances Anderson; a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Wain of Steubenville; three sons, Orris H. Anderson and Raymond E. Anderson of Steubenville, and Louis E. Anderson of Salina, Kas.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Harry Torrence of Bloomfield, Mrs. Denton Curtis of East Liverpool and Mrs. Raymond Anderson of Cozad, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Melvina Handle of Empire; a brother, James A. Anderson of LaJunta, Colo., and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rites will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Free Methodist church by Rev. Wesley Holliday, pastor, and Rev. Stanley Pygh, pastor of the Oakland Free Methodist church.

Interment will be in the Riverview cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday night at the late home.
