She was cremated and interred with her husband 's cremains in the National Cemetery in Houston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Marsden and Mary Barron Marsden; her husband, Ariel Dunham Alsup; and two sons, Rhollie Wayne Alsup and Edward "Eddie" Alsup.
She is survived by four children; sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
