Zettie F. Hills was born July 22, 1863, in Elgin Co., Mich., came to Kansas in 1875, married Mr. A. Ellis in 1880, died at her home in Cicero, Kansas, April 24, 1889.
Her funeral services were held at Cicero, May 25, Rev. E. C. Beach officiating. Her body was placed in the Belle Plaine Cemetery.
She leaves a husband, three children, and many other relatives and friends to mourn her departure; but they do not mourn as those who have no hope. She was a member of the Christian Church about eight years, and said before dying, that she believed that there was treasures in heaven for her.
