She had lived in Warren County most of her life. She had also lived at Lafayette and Shadeland. She was a homemaker and had worked as a cook at Judyville Grade School and Purdue University in the home economics building.
Surviving, are: one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Lucille) Bowers, Route 4, Attica; five sons, William W. (Pat), Byer, Tennessee, Millard T. (Ann), Route 4, Attica, Jasper C. (Dorothy), Route 2, Williamsport, Roy E. (Jean), West Lebanon, Russell D. (Pauline), Williamsport; one brother, Edgar Moore, Sardis, Kentucky; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ray (Thelma) Wesley, Potomac, Illinois; 25 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ray and Archie; seven sisters; two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Friday) at Fisher Funeral Home, Williamsport, with the Rev. Ray Keith officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery." – Star Tribune, September 27, 1991
