It is said that Enos left Iowa in 1869, one year before his parents, and came to Nebraska where he worked for Peter Morgan. Enos was 18 years old at the time, and Peter's daughter Hannah was only 9, and so the story goes that after working for Peter Morgan for nine years, Enos married Hannah.
