Jeremiah Seale
Jerry Seale was born in Green County Alabama Dec. 25, 1833. He lived to a ripe old age, being in his 85th year. He passed away Tuesday morning, May 14 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T.P. Davis.
He served the Confederacy in the 41st Mississippi regiment, ? in the 8th cavalry under Gen. Bedford Forest. He was a member of the Baptist church and a Knight Templar Mason.
He leaves three children: Robt. Seale of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Porter Davis and Mrs. G.C. Smith, of this city.
Funeral services were conducted at the residence Wednesday afternoon by Rev. J.B. Randolph and Masonic services at the I.O.O.F. cemetery by the Masons. We extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
