Obituary:

SINA E. STANBERRY, nee Stanberry, was born Feb 20 1872 and died of pneumonia Jan 13, 1930; aged 59 years, 10 months and 23 days. She was married to John H Ashley, Jan 15, 1888. To this union were born 13 children, of whom 3 boys and 5 girls are still living; one boy and 3 girls being married. All were enabled to be with her during her last short illness. She was converted when about 14 or 15 years of age and joined he Concord Baptist Church. When Fairview was organized she was one of the charter members, and remained a loyal member till her death. She was a very quiet, unassuming woman, scarcely known outside of her immediate community, yet she was a good women, and highly respected, as the large crowd at her funeral bare testimony her funeral was preached in the Fairview Church by Dr. J. M. Anderson, her former pastor, assisted by Rev. A. T. Sims the present pastor. She leaves 8 children, several grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss. Her husband died about 4 years ago. She now sleeps by his side in the Fairview Cemetery, there to await the great judgment morning.
