Married to Hans Beer (1835-1916) in Switzerland, 1861. Records find the ship "Niagara", Bremen to New York, arrived 17 July 1868 with Beer, Johann (age 30, b. Bern), Ursula (30, Bern), Elizabeth (5), Barbara (4), Maria (2), and Johannes (age 8 months). Lived in Richland County, Ohio; found on census of 1880 to be in Wood County, West Virginia; then returned to Richland Co.; finally lived near Milford, Kosciusko County, Indiana. Husband Hans Beer died 29 Dec. 1916 and is buried at Milford Cemetery near Milford, Indiana. Widow Ursula, with several of her children relocated back to Mansfield, Ohio sometime in the 1920's. Ursula died at her home, 200 E. 2nd Street in Mansfield and is buried at Lantz Cemetery (Believer's in Christ Church).
