Mr. Orville F. Janis, age 79, died Tuesday, March 12, 2002. He was born in Kewaunee, WI on September 14, 1922 to Anton & Christine Karl Janowski & was married to the former Shirley-Anne Engle Janis for 55 years. Mr. Janis had served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII & had been employed as Vice President at Comerica Bank until retiring in 1986. Mr. Janis was a former President of the Mona Shores Board of Education, served on the Norton Shores City Council, was active in the Port City Play House, served as the Acting Director & Founder of the Golden Agers Bridge Club & was also a former board President of General Hospital.

SURVIVORS

Wife, Shirley-Anne; 1 daughter, Renee Janis Shunta & son-in-law, Dr. Mark Shunta; 2 grand- children, Dustin Bettendorf & Cameron Shunta.
