"Ross" was born and raised in The Dalles, Oregon. He married his beloved Gloria in 1944, before entering service with the Navy during World War II. After the war he moved to Portland, Oregon where he became a partner in the CPA firm of Nelson & Walker. Ross was a devout Catholic and attended St. Claire Catholic Church in SW Portland. Ross enjoyed trailer camping his entire adult life with his wife and family. Ross was also an avid Portland Trail Blazers fan and held season tickets for many years. Ross' wife Gloria passed away in their SW Portland home in July 2003. Ross passed away a little less than two years later alone in his family home. Ross had a keen mind for investments and business. His sons followed his lead by starting their own businesses. Ross is survived by his sons - Stephen & Philip; his daughter Julie Meunier; and his four grandchildren.
