Willis was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Liddie Shaw, Ola Mae Sitzler and Rosa Dispain; brother Pulaski and a grandson, Stephen David Stewart.
Surviving were his wife and children; brothers Lewis and Allie; sisters Lola Bryson of Delano, and Stella Long of Gastonia, NC.
Willis was a native of Farner and a resident of Polk and McMinn Counties most of his life. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a retired L&N Depot Railroad Engineer.
Rev. John E. Pennington officiated at his memorial service in the chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home in Etowah.
