Baker John, 72, was born in Franklin County, Ohio, May 14, 1807, where he lived until the year 1833, when he moved to this county at the age of 26, being one of the earliest settlers. His first wife, after having shared with him the hardships and privations of frontier life for thirteen years, died in 1846.
