MRS. RUTH DONCER, HAIR STYLIST AT MONROE BEAUTY SCHOOL!
A leading hair stylist and color technician, Mrs. Ruth Docer opened one of Monroe's most beautiful and modern beauty salons about six years ago. She started with herself and two operators with little experience and has rapidly grown until she now operated two salons and a Beauty School/. Mrs. Doncer has studied and worked with salon owners in Baton rouge, Jackson, Memphis, New York and Shreveport, and working under stylists such as M. Lewis, Lee Self and Al Tate, who are artists in her field. She spent much time studying hair color and what being well groomed means to a woman.

Mrs. Doncer takes her profession seriously and has achieved high recognition throughout the South in the Beauty Field. She takes time out of her busy schedule to speak to schools, colleges, teenage groups, home economic groups, Jaycee Janes and other adult groups on hair care and other phases of the beauty field. She has also judged hair style contests in other cities. She has recently returned from Atlanta, Georgia where she attended the "Dixie Hair and Beauty Fair," which was conducted by the Georgia Hairdressers & Cosmetologist Association.

Mrs. Doncer has just organized night classes in hair styling and beauty culture and will teach all the latest phases of advanced hair styling. He invites you to come in and visit Monroe Beauty School or either of the two shops. She will be glad to show you around and discuss the opportunities you can receive by entering the Monroe Beauty School for a rewarding future.
