Wisdom Man Falls From Wagon, Dies
Bartlett M. Lawrence, 66, died of neck injuries suffered in a fall from a hay wagon Saturday on his ranch 12 miles north of Wisdom.
A hired hand said Lawrence was standing on top of a load of hay when a team of horses harnessed to the wagon moved ahead, tumbling the man over backwards.
Beaverhead County Coroner Raymond Schwatrz said there will be no inquest.
Survived by his wife, Kitty Back Lawrence, two daughters, a step-daughter and several grandchildren.
