Jacob Dozier Holland, son of James and Elizabeth Jane Long Holland of Butler County, Alabama. Beloved husband of Mary Adelia Caldwell Holland and father of Cornelius, Beattrice, Belle, Dovie, Clara, Carrie, Willie, Dewey, Eula, and Sudie Holland. He was preceeded in death by one son and two daughters.

MR. JAKE HOLLAND DEAD

Mr. Jake Holland died at his home in the Reliance community Thursday night at 11:45 o'clock. Mr. Holland was 45 years of old and a native of Alabama. He has been a resident of Brazos county for seventeen years and leaves a wife and eight children. The funeral took place at four o'clock yesterday afternoon at Reliance church. Mr. Holland's death resulted from congestion of the bowels. He became ill on Sunday last. The members of the family have the deep sympathy of many friends.
