Funeral services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in the Carson Funeral Home at Walnut for Orville Vincent Misener, 82, who died Saturday night in Mercy Hospital, Parsons.

Misener was born Dec 21, 1877, at Nevada, Mo., the son of Joseph and Nancy Jane Misener. He was married Feb. 20, 1898 at Oakton, Mo., to Armintha Anna Stevens, who survives.

He moved to the Walnut vincinity 23 years ago and into Walnut 14 years ago. Only a few weeks ago they moved into Parsons to live at 1423 Wilson.

Mr. and Mrs. Misener were parents of 10 children, of whom three survive. They are Ira Misener of Parsons, Mrs. Ruth Flagle and Mrs. Beulah Johnston of Overland Park. There are 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grand-children.

Burial was in Glenwood cemetery in Walnut.
