She was born March 4, 1906, in Schuyler County, the daughter of Clarence R. and Ethel Hetrick Luthy.
Surviving are one brother, George S. Luthy of Versailles, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert, Morris and Francis Luthy; and two sisters, Cleo and Louise.
Mrs. DeJairfre was a graduate of Rushville High School, the Western Illinois Teachers College in Macomb and Gem City Business College in Quincy. A member of the Methodist faith, she was a former member of the Business and Professional Women's Club in Burlington, Iowa. She was also a retired secretary for the Iowa Ordinance Plant in Burlington.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hufnagel Funeral home in Mount Sterling with burial at Ripley Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services Saturday. Memorial are suggested to the Versailles Senior Citizens Center of to the charity of the donor's choice.
