Albert Rolley Owens, retired Obion county farmer of near South Fulton, died at 1:45 p.m. April 29 in a Fulton hospital where he had been a patient for a month. He was 81.
Services were held at 2 p.m. April 30 at the White-Ranson Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. David Kidwell officiated and burial followed in East View cemetery.
Pallbearers were: James A. Roberts, Randall Burcham, W. L. Jolley, Jr, Fred Jolley, John Marvin Owens and James B. Owens.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Layce Jonakin Owens; a daughter, Mrs. Edward B. Fritts; a brother, John T. Owens; a grandson, Edward Owens Fritts, all of Union City, and a number of nieces and nephews.
