Name on headstone is spelled wrong! My Uncle and his cousin purchased and placed these stones for Ruhama and her kids. They did not know what dates to put so are left blank. Ruhama was named after Margaret's sister.
No proof she was ever married and as far as anyone knows she never married but did have 7 illegitimate children. Some are listed on the 1850 Census. Her children are:

Richard "Dick" Goff 1846-
Susan Ruth Goff 1848-
James "Jim" Goff 1850-
Lucie Goff 1854-
Elizabeth "Eliza or Elise" 1856- aft 1880
Sarah Jane "Sally" Goff Mason 1857-1925 (My Great Grandmother)
I do know who the father of her children was but cannot say at this time. People are making up who the father is of Ruhama's children. I know who it was by a legitimate source but I promised I would not post it online.
Some trees on ancestry have Ruhama married to a Charley Goff but this is her brother, Charles and NOT the father of her children as rumored. Charles would have been too young to father any children at that time.
