Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Willard Gustave Andreasen, age 80, died July 31, 2002.

Willard was born July 3, 1922, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Carl and Anna Andreasen. Graduated from West High School. Married Carol (Peggy) Taylor on Nov. 16, 1944. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 12, 1982.

Willard served in the United States Navy and worked as a painter, machinist and, most recently, as a supervisor of school crossing guards for Salt Lake City.

Willard was a faithful and devoted husband and father always placing the needs of family members before his own. Willard enjoyed gardening, reading, the outdoors and, most of all, fishing at Trail Lake with his family.

Willard courageously dealt with Congestive Heart Failure and other health conditions for over 20 years.

Willard was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) and a High Priest.

Willard is survived by his wife, Peggy, of 57 years; three children, Steven (Phyllis) of Seattle, WA, Kristine of Salt Lake City, and Dean (Becky) of South Jordan; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Signe Webb. Preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 3, 2002, 12:30 p.m. at the Lakeview Memorial Estates, 1640 East Lakeview Drive (1200 South), Bountiful. Family and Friends may call Saturday, August 3, 2002 at the Rose Park Stake Center, 1150 West 800 North, from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
