Last Wednesday night, Mrs. James McElroy died suddenly from an attack of heart disease at her home on Pearl street. She had been in her usual health, and the news of her death greatly surprised and shocked her wide circle of friends. Her funeral was held on Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, Heuvelton, and the remains were interred in the cemetery at that place.
