Myrtle LaRue was the widow of George Robert LaRue. Myrtle and George were married, February 11, 1900, at the home of Myrtle's parents in Neosho County, Kansas. Mr. LaRue predeceased his wife in 1949.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. LaRue was predeceased by her parents, Sylvester and Mary Jane (Beard) Cleaver; and by her son, Earl R. LaRue.
