Mrs. Sarah Ann Brooks 84 died at her home at Jamestown on April 16, she had been ill for several months. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at Wolf River Methodist Church by Revs. Edward York and Joe Jones. Burial was in the Church Cemetery there with Looper and Qualls in charge. Mrs. Brooks is survived by daughters, Mrs. Allie Delk of Jamestown, Mrs. Marvin Pile of Wolf River, Mrs. John Sowders of Crossville (TN), Mrs. Tom Delk of Jamestown, Mrs. Millard Crouch of Somerset, KY, Mrs. Joe Jennings of Wolf River, Mrs. Lindsy Leffew and Mrs. Kile Clark of Jamestown; one son Allen Brooks of Jamestown; two sisters, Lucy Williams of Wolf River, Mrs. Florence Greer of Harriman (TN); two brothers John Crabtree of Jamestown and George Crabtree of Forbus. She had 45 grandchildren, 123 g-grandchildren and 5 g-g-grandchildren.
