Adam J. Dahm, son of Daniel and Margaret(Warner)Dahm Sr. was born near Kohlsville, WI. From there he with his parents moved to Marshall County, KS., in the month of March 1874 and they settled on a farm which they purchased in the Swede Creek community. On this farm he spent 46 years of his life. In the year of 1920 he retired from active farm life and purchased a home in Waterville, KS., until the year 1934. Since then he made his home with his daughter and her husband, Mr and Mrs H. F. Weber in their country home near Waterville, KS.
February 24, 1885, he was united in marriage with Wilhelmina Pitelko. His companion preceded him in death, July 5, 1935, after a few months more than 50 years of wedded life. To this union was born four children.
His survivors include one daughter, Nellie Weber; three sons, Edward H. minister of the Evangelical Church at Marion, KS., Frank H. of Fort Morgan, CO., and John W. of Waterville, KS.; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 brother.
Funeral services was held in the Swede Creek Evangelical Church on November 23, 1936.
