Mrs. Daisy Elizabeth Rose, 598 Linn St., died Friday at her residence after a brief illness. She was born Oct. 30, 1882 in Vinton County, a daughter of Taylor and Christina Huffman Atkinson.

On July 12, 1903 she was married to William Queen, who died in July 1923. On Jan. 20, 1932 she was married to John Rose, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Miss Lillian Queen of Dayton; two sons, George Queen of Frankfort and Rexford Queen of Chillicothe; a brother, P. C. Atkinson of Chillicothe; a sister, Mrs. Ivy Oakes of Muskogee, Okla.; and six grandchildren.

One son, three sisters, and two brothers preceded her in death.

She was a member of the High Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, where her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, with the Rev. Lester Benner officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Rinehart. Burial in Londonderry Cemetery by the Ware Funeral Home.
