"CASSOPOLIS -- Mrs. Estella Gorton Hayes, 72, former Cassopolis resident, died Saturday in her San Mateo, Calif., home, where she had lived the past 20 years. She was born in Omaha, Neb., Sept. 3, 1893. Her husband, Howard, died in 1965. She is survived by a son, Edward C. Eustace of San Mateo; four grandchildren; and three brothers, Harold E. Gorton of Hazlett, Mich., Merle E. Gorton of Niles, and Ralph C. Gorton of Tacoma, Wash. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Connelly Funeral Home, Cassopolis.
