Janice Beckstead Morgan (89) peacefully left this earthly journey to be with her Lord and Savior on March 28, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born October 26, 1933 to George Stanley Beckstead and Cloa Evelyn VanWagenen in Salt Lake City, Utah. Janice married the love of her life Jack Cooley Morgan August 27, 1953. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. As a dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she dutifully served in many callings including Primary, Relief Society, the Jordan River Temple and a Church mission with her husband at the Salt Lake City Conference Center. Words cannot express how much she will be missed as our hearts are truly broken. Janice is survived by her 4 daughters, Leslie (Rick) Northrup, Stephanie (Kent) Baugh, Jodi (Steve) Osborne and Jackie (Jack) Keigley. 16 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, 3 siblings. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her wonderful hospice nurses Emily and Jen with Canyon Hospice. A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home located at 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. A funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11:00 am at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah, with a viewing prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45 am.
