Lanny Ray Moutardier, age 74, of Okolona returned to his Heavenly Father December 16, 2017. He was born on November 21, 1943 to the late Carlos and Marie Moutardier in Anneta, Kentucky. Lanny was a Class of 1965 graduate of Western Kentucky University. He was a Chemist and a Senior Purchasing Agent for Rhône-Poulenc. He also was a member of the Kiwanis Club and a member of the Romeo's Club. Lanny was a family man; he was a dedicated father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, grandchildren, ; great grandchild, 5 sisters, 4 brothers, numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 . Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 21, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.) with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at the funeral home, and on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of the service
