Harriet (Witter) Sumner (1841 - ?) m. 1873

Parent/Adoptive Parent of

Minnie (Musgove-Sumner) Crutchfield (1870 - 1953)

Died

Sumner - Near Myrtle Creek, Oregon, Sept 11, 1905, Dr. Sumner, aged 70 years.

Deceased lived at the home of his son-in-law, "Uncle John" Weaver, and being feeble and having lost an arm a few years ago, he was assisted to bed as usual that evening. At midnight the night shift at the hop drier went into his room to see how he was and found him dead - probably from heart failure. A son, 'Tip' Sumner, also of Myrtle Creek, survives him. Dr. Sumner came to this county from Klamath Falls about six years ago. - Roseburg Review (Roseburg, OR) Sep 14 1905
