Death visited our neighborhood again last Thursday morning, claiming for its victim, Grandma Witte who has been an invalid for several years. She passed away quietly, within a few days of having completed her 84th year. Her daughter from Kansas arrived here in time for the burial. Mrs. Witte was the mother of 6 children, 3 of whom survive her. Her husband passed away 2 years ago, last May, at 82 years of age. Interment was made late last Friday evening in the Orion cemetery.
