WILLFORD T. EBERSOLD
Willford T. Ebersold, 256 Locust street, died in his home at 8:50 a.m. today after an illness of several months.
Born in Valparaiso, he resided here his entire life, operating a barbershop in Chesterton for 37 years, until several months ago when his health began to fail.
On Aug. 31, 1937 in Boone Grove he married Marguerite Aylesworth, who survives.
He was a member of the Lutheran church, the Barbers union and Valparaiso Masonic lodge 137.
Surviving besides the widow are one daughter, Jane, at home; three sons, James, at home, and Richard and Robert, both of Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. William Buhmann, of Valparaiso; and one brother, Alex Ebersold, also of Valparaiso.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Kosanke Brothers Funeral home, Kouts, with the Rev. Berwyn Jones officiating. Burial will be in Cornell cemetery, near Hebron.
Friends may call at the funeral home in Kouts after 3 p.m. Thursday.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Polio Foundation.
