Carolyn "Carol" Castellow Obituary

Carolyn "Carol" Yvonne Castellow, 57, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Piedmont Hospital.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Parkhill Cemetery with Rev. Jared Owens officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1:30 PM Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Carol was born May 11, 1966 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Jack Everette Cook, Sr. and Betty Jean Cooper Cook. Carol had a big heart - if she knew you, she loved you. She was a strong and loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to many. She had a love for sweet tea, all the little Debbie cakes, spending time with her family, and her dog, Gunnar. 

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Brandi Cook Fredette.

She is survived by her son, Robert Castellow (Amber) of Opelika, AL, daughter, Summer Head (Jeremy) of Smith Station, AL, siblings, Jack E. Cook, Jr. of Columbus, GA, Jeffrey Cook (Deana) of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Carter Castellow, Lincoln Castellow, Ansley Grace Head of Smith Station, AL, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
