Doris Bishop Addison died May 18, 2008, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle. Graveside services are today, May 20, at 2:30 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Jasper, Ala.
Doris was born Aug. 4, 1925, in Coalfire, Ala., to the late Charlie and Icie Bell Bishop. She attended Pickens County High School. She was a member of Columbus Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clexton Addison; brother, Charles E. Bishop; and sisters, Hazel Johnson and Shelby Bishop.
