Miss Looney Dies In Florida, Rites Today


Funeral services for Miss Frances Mae Looney, 66, who died at her home in Pensacola, Fla., Tuesday of a heart attack, were held today at 2 p.m. in Bowling Green, Ky. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.


Miss Looney was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Looney of this city.


She was graduated from the Bethesda School of Nursing of Cincinnati, O.


At the time of her death she was employed at Escambia General Hospital, Pensacola.


Surviving are a brother, Earl S. Looney, of this city; a sister, Mrs. J. W. Westfield, Nashville; five nieces, Mrs. William S. Vaughn, Mrs. Charles O. Cox, Louisville, Ky., Miss Martha Looney and Mrs. Carnell Vaughn, Clarksville, Miss Lera Westfield of Nashville; three nephews, Charles Wyatt, Louisville, Roy and William Westfield, Nashville.


Miss Looney left Clarksville in 1952 and had frequently returned on visits to friends and relatives.

Miss Looney Dies In Florida, Rites Today
