George Christopher Parigoris, 68, of Parsippany, died on Wednesday, August 16, 1995 at Hackensack Medical Center. He was born in Palisades Park in lived there before moving to Parsippany in 1960. George was a purchasing agent at Cerberus Pytotronics in Cedar Knolls for 10 years before retiring in April. He was a 1944 alumnus of Leonia High School and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Krueger) Parigoris. Loving father of Melissa Mohn of Byram Township, Christopher Parigoris of Chicago and the late John Parigoris. Dear brother of Evelyn Meier of Palisades Park and the late John C. Parigoris. Devoted grandfather of 4 grandchildren. Visitation was offered on Friday, August 18, 1995 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM followed by a prayer service conducted at 7 PM in the Blackley Funeral Home, 809 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ 07657. The funeral was arranged on Saturday, August 19, 1995 at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated at 10 AM in Saint John the Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, 353 East Clinton Avenue, Tenafly, NJ 07670. Interment followed at Brookside Cemetery in Englewood.
