Marian A. Baitinger, age 79, formerly of Menasha, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 1997 at Oakridge Care Center in Union Grove. Marian was born August 24, 1917 in the Town of Leon, the daughter of the late William and Iva (Culver) Wendt. She had worked at Wisconsin Tissue for many years. Marian was a charter member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Menasha. She is survived by 1 daughter Virginia (Clyde) Routheaux of Union Grove, 1 son William W. Baitinger of New London, 1 brother Arden Wendt of Arizona, 3 sisters Lois (Russell) Harrison of Poy Sippi, Margaret Manske of Pine River, Verna (Arthur) Brey of Ripon, 6 grandchildren Steven, Lisa, Brian, Sandra, Barbara, and David. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence in 1986, 1 grandson Michael Routheaux in 1987 and 1 sister Ila Krause in 1995. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20, 1997 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Menasha. Friends may call at the LAEMMRICH COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME in Menasha on Thursday eve. from 3 to 7 and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Neenah. A memorial has been established.
